The Sage Riders Motorcycle Club was formed in 1980 with it’s first president being Robert Hutchings.
The club’s first race was a motocross held at the “Lark” track near Lehi.
Preston Gerber took over as club president in 1981 and the club sponsored it’s first desert race

From time to time we have club sponsored rides.
These rides are guided and well planed out.
They usually have some history included about the area and the reason the trail system is open.
Check out News area for updates. |

Public Land Users,
Here's the deal. The Utah BLM is incorporating into each Field Office RMP a reduction in the number of riders/machines allowed to recreate in a group without having to first obtain a "permit" from the BLM.
Currently the limit is 50 machines/riders. In other words, as long as your family reunion, scout camp-out or motorcycle club trail ride has less than 50 machines...you don't need a "permit" from the BLM. The BLM thinks that 50 is too many citizens to be having fun together as a group. So, BLM is proposing to reduce the number from 50 down to only 25 machines/riders.
The number is even lower for routes within a WSA, the BLM is proposing that to be 12 machines/riders.
Blue Ribbon Coalition is wanting to fight this stupid idea. They need each club/organization that is willing to sign a letter, to do so. I'd like to see EVERY club/organization in the state sign that letter.
PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
Thanks,Alan Peterson
